Our Goal

RYVC's goal is to have 250 people pledge to use their voice for good. All we ask for is for you to raise your voice AGAINST hate and raise your voice FOR love. RYVC aims to support our fellow humans and create a happier and more peaceful world. All you have to do to pledge is to comment "I, (insert your name), pledge to raise my voice." on any of our posts. By doing this your name will be added to our on-paper pledge sheet. One voice. One world. Only we hold the power to make the world a better place, but we must first raise our voices.

Let's START Something

The Raise Your Voice Campaign is based on the idea of bringing people up. We try to keep the labels we put on people minimal. Once we stop looking at people as labels of what they look like, of what they believe in, or of what their sexual orientation is the prejudices will stop too. Our community isn’t our town, our state, or even our nation. Our community stretches out to encompass the world. RYVC works towards making everyone equal. By doing this we can stop bullying, we can stop hate crimes, but most of all, we can start peace.

Take a new outlook on life. Refresh your eyes and ears. Start to look at everyone with an equal mindset. Start listening to the things around you and stand up for what is right. Raise Your Voice Campaign doesn't ask for money, all we ask is for your pledge to raise your voice and help to create a more positive world.

The Thought that Sparked it All

Have you ever noticed someone who is always upbeat and happy? Have you ever noticed how your mood changes when you’re around them? It is the same concept for the Raise Your Voice Campaign. If you raise your voice constantly for what is right, then the people around you will start to raise theirs too. As humans we are all connected. We are unified by what we believe in, by how we treat others, and what we do. If we all become unified in the belief that we are all equal, then we are one step closer to becoming a fully unified world.

We as humans should believe that putting down others is wrong. We should believe in lending a helping hand to those in need. We can put these ideas into motion with the Raise Your Voice Campaign. Every action that we take matters, it sets an example for those who will grow older and set more examples. The idea of RYVC is to come together as one and make a change in the world. Change to stop words from hurting others. Change to support each other. Change to become more unified through our voices.
